Imwielda l-Brażil, iżda għexet ħajjitha s’issa ġewwa l-gżejjer sbieħ ta’ Għawdex u Malta, Miriam Christine hija omm, kant-awtriċi, għalliema tal-mużika, u personalita’ fuq it-televiżjoni, Miriam Christine ilha tkanta u ddoqq il-pjanu għal iktar minn 35 sena. Matul is-snin skopriet il-passjoni għal kitba tal-kanzunetti u pproduċiet albums bil-materjal oriġinali tagħha kemm bl-Ingliż kif ukoll bil-Malti.

Miriam Christine rebħet diversi premijiet li jinkludu il-‘Golden Palm 1996’ u il-‘Best New Comer’ (Malta Music Awards ’95).  Ħadet sehem f’diversi kompetizzjonijiet  nazzjonali u internazzjonali tal-kant fejn tispikka r-rebħa tagħha fil-‘Maltese Song For Europe ’96′ bil-kanzunetta ‘In a woman’s heart’. B’hekk hija kienet irrapreżentat lil Malta fil-Eurovision Song Contest li ttella’ fin-Norveġja u wara li għaddiet mis-semifinali, kisbet l-għaxar post.

Din l-esperjenza wasslet lil Miriam Christine biex tkanta f’diversi kunċerti kemm f’Malta kif ukoll barra minn pajjiżna bħal Franza, Italja, Germanja, Norveġja, Litwanja, Dubai, Kanada, Turkija Lussemburgu u  r-Renju Unit. Fost id-diski ta’ Miriam Christine insibu s-singles ‘In a Woman’s Heart’,  ‘Hush’, ’Mystery Mama’, ‘Synchronised’, ‘Alone Today’, ‘Safe’  u CD albums “Smile ‘n’ Shine”, l-“Emigrant”, u “Little Zee”. Miriam Christine kienet ukoll l-għalliema ta’ Francesca u Mikaela li rrapreżentaw lil Malta fil-Junior Eurovision Song Contest fl-Ukrajna fl-2009, fejn kisbu t-tmien post. Hija saret ukoll personalita’ popolari fuq it-televiżjoni lokali wara li ppreżentat diversi programmi televiżivi. F’dawn l-aħħar snin, Miriam Christine ħadet brejk mill-mużika u t-televiżjoni sabiex tikkonċentra fuq li-familja bit-twelid tat-tfal tagħha Rio u Luna.

Born in Brazil, and brought up on the idyllic island of Gozo in Malta, Miriam Christine is a mother, singer/songwriter, music teacher, and a television personality. She started singing and playing the piano at a young age. Over the years, she unraveled the beautiful joy of songwriting and produced studio albums with self-penned material in both English and Maltese.

Miriam Christine won various local awards including the ‘Golden Palm’ and the ‘Malta Song for Europe’ in 1996, which gave further support to the ‘Best New Comer Award’ at the Malta Music Awards in 1995. As a result of her winning the ‘Malta Song for Europe’, Miriam represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest held in Oslo, Norway passing through the semifinal, and finishing in 10th place on the night of the final. This experience brought with it several opportunities, going on to sing at a number of events in Malta, and abroad (specifically: France, Italy, Norway, Lithuania, Dubai, Canada, Turkey, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom).

Amongst the records released by Miriam Christine are the singles “In a Woman’s Heart”, “Hush”, “Mystery Mama”, “Synchronised”, “Alone Today”, “Safe”, and the Studio Albums “Smile ‘n’ Shine”, “L-Emigrant”, and “Little Zee”. Miriam Christine was also the vocal coach and mentor of Francesca and Mikaela who represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest back in 2009, earning a respectable 8th place finish. Eventually, besides focusing on her music, she also became a popular television personality in Malta, hosting several television shows. Over the years, Miriam Christine took some time off from her career to concentrate on motherhood and she welcomed into the world her son Rio and daughter Luna.
